Featuring an officially certified automatic chronometer movement with a sleek stainless steel case and bracelet, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was the company's flagship line.
Its caliber 1001 movement ultra-thin automatic movement measures only 4.25mm thick and has a thinner rotor to reduce stress on winding parts and is adjusted to run accurately in five positions and across a range of temperatures.
It is fully Omega down to the hands and crown.
It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10. The case presents as just short of perfect mint with one small mark on the left side.
The dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has been freshly fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. Amazing after more than fifty years it is keeping time like a brand new Omega chronometer in our testing position.
For the finishing touch we have installed a new calfskin band making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
